Whiteboard
[rsalveti, Feb 14, 2012] We'll stay with Unity 5.0, 5.2 brings a bunch of other dependencies (glib, gtk, etc) that we don't want to maintain. It's running well and way better than previous unity. Removing the announce WI as this will be part of the release notes.
Meta:
Headline: The Ubuntu LEB now delivers support for Unity 5.0, with improvements on the interface and performance, enabling the first 5.0 based release available from Ubuntu DX team.
Acceptance: Latest compiz, nux and unity integrated at the Overlay. Additional packages to avoid breaking unity-2d also published to the PPA. Unity-2d working as before, at every board we support.
