Whiteboard

Note - this blueprint is now obsolete based on the work done in the thermal-framework-maintain blueprint and the integration trees being developed by Amit for the Kernel level work. The user-space thermal manager is no longer maintained as a result.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

RESULT:
There is a user-space daemon and Android application framework registration that supersedes the trees listed above (git.linaro.org) for Android Gingerbread at:

http://omapzoom.org/?p=platform/hardware/ti/omap3.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gingerbread under "OMAP4 Thermal Manager initial offering".

Note that this tree will migrate to a Kernel-based (.35) solution next

[sjahnke]: Define temporary working tree for hwmon based thermal driver: DONE

RESULT:
There is a .39 based hwmon driver for the OMAP4 on-die sensor driver at:
  http://gitorious.org/omap-pm/linux

[sjahnke] Define temporary working tree for thermal framework driver: TODO
[sjahnke] Define temporary working tree for thermal framework core: TODO
[sjahnke] Define where to push or integrate the temporary working trees to a mainline: TODO
