Linux Linaro Tracking Bootstrap

Registered by Ricardo Salveti

As a decision from Connect's session http://summit.linaro.org/lcq2-12/meeting/20853/linux-linaro-reviewing-the-development-process-and-rules/ , it was decided to create and maintain another Linux Linaro based tree, which is called linux-linaro-tracking.

Linux-Linaro-Tracking is a tree that merges all the Landing Team trees as a topic, to generate one single tree which would contain the work for all LTs, and would help identifying conflicts and issues between the different platforms that are enabled by the LTs.

Whiteboard

[andrey_konovalov, 2012-06-25] Right now there is just one LTs tree which is based on 3.4 - the TI's one. Samsung has moved from 3.4 to 3.5-rc2 in the middle of this month.
For this reason in 12.06 "all the LTs tree that are based on 3.4 tree" would mean current TI's tree, last 3.4 Samsung's tree snapshot saved in linux-linaro-tracking.git, and ARM LT's previous-* topics merged together (don't have vexpress integration tree for the previous, 3.4 kernel saved. So would have to reconstruct it from the previous-* topics kept in landing-teams/working/arm/kernel.git)
[rsalveti, Jun 28, 2012] Seems the engineering work is all done related with the blueprint. Can you just update the remaining WIs so we can close this blueprint for this cycle? Thanks!

Meta:
Headline: A new Linux Linaro branch, called Linux Linaro Tracking, is now published containing all the Landing Team specific changes, delivering a single and unified tree.
Acceptance: New branch in place called linux-linaro-tracking. Scripts improved to generate such tree, being able to merge all the LT trees/branches. Branch first published based on 3.4, with all LTs integrated (the ones available at 3.4). Results published on wiki at https://wiki.linaro.org/Platform/DevPlatform/LinuxLinaroSummaryByCycle showing conflicts and issues as a summary for the month.
