Whiteboard
Ideas to consider:
[pfalcon] Two words: Packaged Android. Take the best practices from Linux distros and build individual components into packages, then create complete installable image from packages. Packaging scheme can be trivial - like tarballs with minimal metadata (name/version) in filename. Whatever packaging details are, it seems like scalable way to optimize build/testing/CI loop cycle and support builds for many boards.
