Make most currently protected properties public

Currently most properties in the dao/controller classes are protected. This really makes libfox only usable like a framework. To make libfox more flexible and usable like a library, it helps to have publicly accessible properties.
There are two ways to do this: Simply change the properties' scope to public, or create setters/getters.
