Following the resolution of https://bugs.launchpad.net/libecbufr/+bug/479447 , we can now get a complete decoding, in ASCII, of BUFR messages containing associated values (operator 2-04-YYY). However we cannot at the current time encode associated values with the bufr_encoder utility.

Update Nov 10 2009: this is being processed through bug reports (see links in right margin).
