Is this needed in some way for OpenStack to operate correctly? --sdake
An NTP container outside of the scope of Kolla in my opinion. NTP is handled by the host system and is well within the operators control. I strongly disagree with having an NTP container in the Kolla base. The operator can handle time synchronization between his servers however he would like. Additionally, most distros come with an ntpd preinstalled and a container doing the same task would conflict. --SamYaple
