Knitting shape

KOffice has a plugin system for shapes, which can show content of any type. My suggestion is to make a new shape for content of type 'knitting patterns'.
Having a shape showing knitting patterns and allowing me to edit it inside any KOffice application would make it much easier for me to create to-scale prints of these patterns and on top of that I'd never have to leave the comfort of the application suite I love.
