Copy schematics between projects

Would be nice to be able to copy schematics or part of it from one project and paste it in to the schematics in another project. If it is implemented would be great if it was bit obvious how to use it.

You'll be happy to read that some work related to this topic has already been done. Recently we discussed an implementation in the developers list [1] and a patch was committed in revision 3921.
The feature is available from the menu entry File -> Append schematic. It is able to copy all the contents of one .sch sheet into another one, excepting the hierarchical sheets that may cause problems and need more work.
