Editing of polygons using dedicated function
Polygons including copper filled zones could be edited within a special mode, which would create or delete corners, move corners and move outline segments without pop-up menus. In case of overlapping polygons the selection would first be clarified by clicking on any accessible feature of the desired polygon, which would highlight corner handles and/or segments when being hovered over and keep them highlighted once selected. The creation/ removal of corners could be performed by R-clicking on a segment or corner handle. The corner handles and segments would be dragged around with the L mouse button. The dragging behavior of segments (preserve segment or just preserve the angle) would be controlled by an additional keyboard key. Dragging a segment into a corner while preserving the angle would not produce a self-intersecting outline, but instead fuse two corners into one or no longer follow the mouse. Conversely, a single corner handle could be mitered while holding down another keyboard key.
