cant create pin arryas without pin numbers

I want to be able to make arrays of square solder mask openings in top of round bga pads
but create array imposes onto you a pin-number
even if you dont want one, and even if the pin being the origin of the array dont have a pin number.
i need to go into the file and edit away the pin-number with an editor.
