Add a feaure in Eeschema to show/hide pin names and/or numbers on a per-component basis in the 'component properties' window in a schematic

Registered by Mike Clay

Schematic components in Eeschema look 'cluttered' with extraneous pin information i.e. name/number.

I note that there is an option in the library editor to show/hide pin names/numbers (on a permanent basis) for library components.

It would however, be extremely useful to have the option to show/hide the pin names and/or numbers on a per-component basis in the 'component properties' window in a schematic. A check-box for each maybe?

As an example, I have a library containing several hundred diodes all displaying pin names/numbers by default when any is placed on a schematic. Obviously these parameters serve a useful purpose but their appearance on the schematic only serves to 'clutter' it. Similar, bipolar transistors have both C/B/E (collect/base/emitter) and pin numbers shown. Again, this information is extraneous in the context of the schematic and i'd like the ability to hide it.
