I would find it useful to extend the "No Connect" (X) option which exists "per pin" to entire components.
Reason: I want to add some "Documentation Only" external components as "inline" (i.e. "on-schematic") documentation.

For example: In my current project, I want to add external DB9 connectors to emphasise the difference in naming pins on DCE vs DTE. Sure - I can add a text comment. But it would help to add a picture (symbol) of what I mean too, in-place, on the schematic itself. The "Documentation Only" parts would not appear in CVPCB, PcbNew etc (they have no physical realisation).
