HOWTO Get Involved with Kibo?

There are 3 different types of involvement. It is up to the members of Kibo's Team to choose what they do want and which part they would like to play:

(1) As volunteers:

The best way to gain free skills and experience in exchange of time and support. As a new project, we do need human resources in different areas. It is great idea to help people and get a help from them at the same time.

Payment:
---------------
Volunteers are investing their time, skills and experience to help the project and to gain new skills and experience so there will be no payment for that. They will earn new skills and experience, not money.

(2) As Members (Staff)

Kibo is offering more than one service and each service is under different type, category or area (web design, graphics design, development, technical support, etc). Those who shall offer these different services under Kibo are the members of Kibo (Staff) and they will work on:

(a) Tasks and/or Projects requested from our clients.
(b) Bring clients to Kibo.

Payment:

(a) Pay-Per-Task: members (staff) of Kibo will get paid as per the task they are on. Most likely, it is a one-person task that does not require many to work on.

(b) Pay-Per-Project: usually, there are more than one person working on a project. So, those will get paid based on their contributions to that project.

(c) Pey-Per-Client: we need clients, obviously. For the time being, all of us (members/staff of Kibo) will work as marketing/sales representatives and bring clients to Kibo. Those who bring a client will get paid for that.

(3) Investment

Details:

As with any business project in the entire world, it needs money. Also, as with any business project, there are supporter and backup that one can refer to. Investor for Kibo is the backup, the help and support that we need. They can invest their money to help us and in the same time, get their share. For example: one can invest 1,000 USD to pay for the server, website, recruit people, etc. And once the project shows some real progress and success, they can get their money back. Once Kibo moves to Phase 2 (https://blueprints.launchpad.net/kibo-project/+spec/kibo-phases) those investors can play a major part to make things much easier and better.
