Keystone MongoDB Persistency
Registered by
Dan Flye
Openstack keystone allows cloud providers to select from multiple backend identity persistence drivers, including kvs, ldap, pam and sql. While this selection allows a cloud provider some flexibility in choosing a backend persistency store, it could be enhanced by adding an identity persistence driver that communicates with a MongoDB no-SQL database.

Whiteboard
we have very little interest in providing first class support for the SQL identity driver as-is, let alone *another* second-tier solution behind LDAP -- this would be great out-of-tree work to gauge community interest, though
