Synchronize home folder from multiple computers

I wonder if it won't be convenient to create a feature in konqueror, based on nfs or samba, to enable the ability to synchronize home folders existing on a laptop and a desktop, instead of copying the whole directory with the risk of losing some files if not made regularly.
