Whiteboard
the rough build version has been made on the development computer (joeode47laptop) and is going to be installed into a virtual machine and fine tuned from there to avoid mix ups with grub/burg (burg is included in 3.1).
== progress so far ==
*rough iso build was made (took about an hour to complete w/i burning a beta cd; with a total of 1.8 gigs 0.o)
*qemu installed after the image was made and virtual machine setup (w/i generic settings and 1 gig of ram; which is recommended for good performance)
== todo ==
*clean packages and un-needed packages and configurations
*set the right ppa/repositories (including joeos ppa)
*set up menu (also to set default cd session; gnome should be set up as default)
*remove the xterm session (it seems unnecessary for the default user and it would be better to hide it from the 'normal' user)
*build iso and set the iso to boot similar to the ubuntu live cd (like having the install slide show into your new computer)
