A hidden toolbar in slide mode

Registered by Egor Zindy

A toolbar with icons for "first page", "last page" and "index mode" could be made available from a clickable / toggable shortcut key, placed somewhere on the slides. A presentation could have a "?" defined in one of the corners (in the master slide or otherwise, similar to the existing auto-text feature) which when clicked would make the toolbar appear. With the addition of such a toolbar, JessyInk navigation would be complete. At the moment, it is not possible to go into index mode without pressing the "i" key.

[HH] Another way to achieve a similar thing would be to show the toolbar (at a fixed location?) when the mouse is being moved and to hide it when the mouse has not been moved for some time. It would probably be best to place the toolbar on its own layer (i.e. in a separate group).

[EZ] What I had in mind was to start with the auto-text code and link the object with the "Index" id to the index mode when clicked. Haven't really thought about the whole toolbar concept implementation yet. Fixed position for the toolbar icon + separate layer + mouseover could work nicely.

The last page explains how to make a toolbar + buttons, all in SVG. See example:
