Note:
--------
This is a non-technical roadmap for iRQLinux and the brainstorming of this roadmap will start from 19-5-2014 until 1-6-2014
(1) Make an official announcement regarding the start of iRQLinux Project.
By making this announcement, the brainstorming of this roadmap (iRQLinux Non-Technical Roadmap) will start until 1st of June, 2014.
(2) Anyone who is interested to participate and be part of iRQLinux Project (the first project for ITA Team), he/she is more than welcome to join this team on launchpad: https:/
It is a must-do-step in order to maintain a high quality level of communications + in order not to confuse anyone else who is not interested to be part of this project.
(3) Anyone who is NOT interested to participate and be part of iRQLinux Project (the first project for ITA Team), he/she is NOT required to join https:/
Kindly be patient. The Team Leaders of ITA Team will communicate soon with each and everyone who are part of their teams.
(4) Needed Sub-Teams for iRQLinux are:
(a) Documentations = Wiki, Manual, Tutorials, Howtos
(b) GNU/Linux = System
(c) Marketing & Communications = Social Media
(d) Networking & Internet = Website, Forums, etc
(e) Quality Assurance (QA) = Testing Bugs Reporting
(f) Programming Languages (Developers and Programmers) = Programmers/
(g) Graphics & Visualization (Graphics Design and Video Editing) = Artwork (icons, wallpapers, logo, etc).
(h) Scientific Research & E-Learning = Tutorials, Screencasts, explain what GNU/Linux is and educate the audience
(i) Human Resources and Management *Optional* = Recruiting Contributors to iRQLinux
(5) The action plan from 19-May-2014 until 1-June-2014 includes:
(a) Huge Marketing Campaign for iRQLinux that will start from the announcement day (19th of May, 2014) - Marketing and Communications Sub-Team should help in this regard.
(b) Finish the needed Sub-Teams - QA (we need a TL + members) and Programming Languages (we have members, we just need a TL) - this should be done before 1st of June, 2014. Please note we must stick to the schedule and no more delay is accepted. iRQLinux is not an Operating System that will not be built overnight and more will join when the project will start - people do need to SEE to believe.
(c) Recruiting volunteers and contributors to help us to build iRQLinux. This will start from 19th of May until further notice as long as iRQLinux does exist, we shall never stop accepting contributors to this project.
(d) We need to start educating Iraqi people about GNU/Linux. Every member of ITA Team who has experience with Linux can actually help in this regard.
(e) Make sure to organize our team and communications AND follow all the above.
