Currently there are a few bps dedicated for a common purpose:

We need an ability to interrupt long-running, dangling tasks, in particular - deployment. Cancellation should be performed automatically if the task timeout expired, or manually - on the user demand. We don't want to break the state of the node and conductor, therefore cancellation should not be performed at any arbitrary point of task, instead there should be a set of checkpoints in code at which the task can be cancelled.
