You can add the Overlay Blend Mode for layers. One can give interesting effects to pictures with that option.

- xaviju - I think this is already available under the layers dialog (Shift + Ctrl + L ) -> "Blend Mode"

SergeiBSG: No. The Blend Modes of Inkscape are: Normal, Multiply, Screen, Darken and Lighten. But there is not Overlay, it's a very common blend mode (photoshop, illustrator, medibang, gimp, procreate). It would be awesome if Inkscape had it.
