This blueprint describes a better management of crowded menus

Menus like 'Filters' and 'Extensions' have become so crowded after many releases that navigating through them is tedious and confusing. This blueprint aims to solve this by presenting the menu items in a docked dialog with search (by name) capabilities.
IMPORTANT: This blueprint is not related to editing the filters nor tries to serve as a complete substitute for the current menus.

jazzynico, 2011-03-08 - Great idea! I don't know how difficult it would be to implement this feature, but it would certainly save users some efforts when searching menu entries (reorganizing the entries probably would also be an improvement...).
