New Windows should have same tools enabled as other already open windows
When doing an open, it would be nice if the tool could be "smart" and enable the same tools in that window as I have in other already open windows. If multiple windows are open already, match the one it was opened from.

2008-02-19 bryce: Please proceed with drafting a spec for this. I'm not sure I understand "the tool could be "smart" and enable the same tools" - aren't all of Inkscape's tools enabled in the second window? Perhaps provide some screenshots to show how it works currently, and what it should look like?
2010-10-12 jazzynico - On the contrary, it is nice to be able to use different settings in the different windows. Anyway, it doesn't look like a real spec, and thus I close it. Please consider opening a bug (wishlist) report if you need to write a simple RFE.
