Mandala/Kaleidoscope extension with configurable mirror axes

Well I don't know if this is the correct form to fill.. I saw this impressive video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYk9YfJuQUs) by talented tattoo artist Orge Kalodimas and thought, hey, can I do this with my touch screen and inkscape. Turned out I achieved something similar with mirror-tiled clones of a group, but it is a little fidgety to use. Maybe someone has an idea how to script it. An example SVG file is at https://upload.disroot.org/r/9IZ-Kucq#vfV5ujSxTtWuHTRZ1bkB23pQdNESDQQ5SU0ROeaHGvw= .. usage is to enter into the group by double-clicking on the top right part, then CTRL-A to select and DEL to empty the group. Then, with the stroke brush or any other tool, just creating shapes within that group will instantly clone them along the three mirror axes. Almost as cool as in the video : )
