Gradient Presets

Greetings!
I've been a fan of Inkscape for quite some time and I love it! One feature I would love to see would be to have Gradient Presets much like how you have the different color swatches. Be able to add, modify, duplicate or delete them. I'm kind of picturing them being the same ones included with GIMP for default or reference.

Gradients can be added to the "Auto" swatch in Inkscape 0.47+dev, as if they were normal colors.
