Reload font list without restarting Inkscape

I often find myself having to restart Inkscape because I just installed a new font which I want to use for the drawing I'm working on. Usually the workflow is as follows:
- I'm designing in Inkscape and find I don't have an appropriate font
- I go to my "fonts" folder, or the internet, to find a better font.
- I install the font on my system
- I can't use the font directly in Inkscape so I have to close it and start it up again.
I'd like to be able to click on a button to "Reload fonts" so I can continue in my drawing.
