bridge when non-connected connectors cross

I would be very interested in the functionality of making a bridge when two lines cross each others and are not connected (like in schematic representations of electronic circuits for instance).
I know this has already been discussed here https://blueprints.launchpad.net/inkscape/+spec/inkscape-connectors , but i'd like to know if it is considered.
