We could have the option to align other objects compared to stage in addition to compared to other objects. Just like Macromedia Flash 8.
We could have the option to align other objects compared to stage in addition to compared to other objects. Just like Macromedia Flash 8.
Stage is actually the area where we use to draw objects. In a A4 paper the stage could be the area of the A4 paper (that is 210 x 297 mm), for example.

04-04-2008 Pablo: Could you elaborate what a stage is? I guess is some sort of invisible area to which you can align objects... But please elaborate how this would work.
In the align and distribute dialog there is relative to: and you set it to many things including page. If there is something that is doesn't cover please feel free to add more information to this blueprint. When more info is add to the spec it will be re-evaluted. - Joshua L.
