Audible Paper Cuts in Pidgin Notifications

By default, Pidgin plays audible alerts when buddies sign on or off. notify-osd makes this redundant, and audible notifications carry very little information. For example, when you hear the sign-on sound, all you know is "somebody came online," which is not useful enough to warrant disturbing the user.
