UI support for cinder volume snapshot backup
The current Openstack release doesn’t have the openstack cinder’s functionality of create and restore snapshot backups extended to Horizon (Openstack Dashboard). It will be a valuable use case for a user to have a backup and restore option and this functionality must be available from the Openstack Dashboard UI.

Cinder does not provide support for backup of snapshot.
If the user intends to perform a Backup, they should just directly perform a Backup directly form the Volume rather than on the Snapshot. I don't see a use case for this at the moment.
The other blueprint for Volume Backup does make sense and is already merged in master.
