Node Management UI (Ironic)

Registered by Jaromir Coufal

There is a need for user interface for node management. The views should be mostly based on Ironic, but also with various information from other services (like nova, ceilometer, etc). Detailed specification is going to be described in the whiteboard together with requirements and wireframes.

[david-lyle 2014.08.11] Moving out of Juno This can't be part of the j-3 milestone for Horizon because Ironic isn't part of the integrated release. This doesn't bar work on this, just won't merge for Juno.

    Add node management panel

    Add Ironic API support

[jpichon 2014.09.15] I see there are a couple of patches proposed against horizon - it seems to me this would be a better fit for the "Infrastructure" dashboard handled by Tuskar-UI? ( https://github.com/openstack/tuskar-ui )

[jcoufal 2014-09-19] I Agree, Julie.

[lcheng 2014-10-13] An operator can use Ironic without TripleO - just something to note when developing the Ironic panel into Tuskar-UI repo. The Ironic dashboard should work without depedency from TripleO.
