handling direct denting

Sending a direct dent is a needed good thing.

How to do this so that the user knows that a direct dent is going to be sent
1. change the background color of the dent field
2. change the text of the dent field frame
3. stay on the directs tab
(i was thinking something along the lines of item 1. i didn't notice the "Direct Message to *user*" text at first. but, if that text was say, in red, it would draw the users eye to it. that would give the user a feeling that something special is happening.)
