This probably requires the following:
- finding out what exactly in the innodb patches shipped with xtrabackup is *really* required
- there is some (fake_write) that is only required for xtrabackup --stats
- odds are it's just the removal of 'static' from some functions
- options handling either to no longer by my_getopt, or have my_getopt in haildb
- definitions in xtrabackup from innobase sources into sep source files (or include the actual sources!)
- innobase_ functions (that link innobase to mysql) separated out, so that with HailDB we don't link in and instead use API hooks?
