Registered by Daniele Napolitano on 2010-04-08

Instead MikMod, use libcanberra for sounds effects. This fix some bugs and use PulseAudio.

Whiteboard

Got libcanberra-gtk to link properly, and even got libcanberra to play autonom.ogg for the main window widget. Now to start tuning it so that it plays for the right widgets and events.

Wes Ellis: Sound now plays for all events. I have one more commit to push and I will be ready for review. Should be up in a couple hours.

Wes Ellis: Okay, just wrapping things up here. All sounds work on my system, and the toggle buttons for sound preferences and music preferences now work (rev 101). The only thing that is lacking is the background music looping. I was hoping to use (*ca_finish_callback_t) for that, but I don't really know how to use function pointers. I will work on this more, any help is appreciated. After that learn how to do a Launchpad recipe and do some user testing.

Wes Ellis: All done, or so I think.
