Whiteboard

In the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines 2.0, a drowpbox can't be more of 10 items.
I can be change the items (or your in the file /usr/share/gufw/cfg_files/services

What's the better and more used services for included? (max. 10 services)

I think too in a window with services... :O

EDIT by Emilio:
You could add Samba support, emesene's webcam (currently only in trunk, does it need a port?), apache/lighttpd/other webserver (port 80), SSH, NFS maybe?

EDIT by willymdv : Sun-RPC ports, I think 10 is not enough, it would be preferable to use a window for services and I dont't think is nessecary to add emesene's webcam port, this can change ??
(sorry for my english)

EDIT by Tim: Applications are starting to add themselves to /etc/ufw/applications.d/ (list them using "ufw app list"). Perhaps this list could be used as a starting point, as it would line up with what is installed.

Another option could be to group servers under function, then a user could pick a function, and the list of services shown would change depending on the function they chose. A few examples groups:
Mail: imap, pop3, smtp
Remote access: ssh, telnet, vnc
Games: quake, quake3, etc

daniele: ufw services by default, with more (and unique) services grabbed from gufw conf. For the drop-down you should follow this approach: 10 items, 9 unique service and a "Other..." item that open a windows with all options.

Costales: Great idea Tim!
Mail: imap, pop3, smtp
Remote access: ssh, telnet, vnc
Games: quake, quake3, etc
I think I will implemented this ;) Thanks to all!
