Show active connections in gufw

Registered by Nizar Kerkeni

I used firestarter before and one of the most appreciated thing is that it shows all active connections (in and out).
It will be great if gufw offer this functionality.

Whiteboard

Gufw could be linked to bash script that executes netstat to list all connections and listen (open) ports.

EDIT by willymdv : this is possible with blocked ports ?

EDIE by lucazade : i'd like to see something like "netstat -nap --inet" or iftop embedded into guwf.

EDIT by caio: I agree with the thread starter. These are features on top of my features requests. I'm currently using "iptraf" for monitoring connections, but if it is possible to link Gufw with other application that monitor active connections and blocked connections I would appreciate a lot if someone could explain how to do it.

EDIT by mnicky: I also agree. Almost all the firewalls have this feature...

Hi!

Sorry, and thanks by your idea.

EDIT by kiddo: uh wait, is that a *design* decision of ufw? I'm sure they wouldn't refuse patches if you folks wanted to implement that feature upstream.
