Currently there is no mechanism for a third party SF manager to register its service functions with the Openstack Service Chain Orchestrator. This BP allows a third-party Service Function manager to register its service functions with the Openstack Service Chain Orchestrator. The Service Function instances are stored in a SF database (SF catalog). When a service function
chain (SFC) is created, this SF database may be queried to obtain a matching SF instance that can be used in a service function chain.
