This is already done as far as I remember. At least in our committed intranda edition 1.7 this is already included. We called it "fiktive Paginierungen" or "fingierte Pagnierung" if I remember correctly.

This particular pagination feature has been missing in 1.5 series. Development on 1.5 series has been stopped. Thus this blueprint has become obsolete.
