Implement bookmark function for gnome-terminal, much like in Konsole
The lack of bookmarks, and mainly for ssh connections in gnome-terminal makes working with many servers difficult. It would be very welcomed if someone would lean a hand and implement a bookmark function for gnome-terminal. The bookmark should remember, if possible, the machine, folder and user when the bookmark was created. It would then be simple to navigate back to long paths and machines with ip-numbers easily forgotten.
The next step would be to integrate nautilus with the terminal and the bookmarks found under Places in the main menu. You should then be able to "open terminal from here" from nautilus as well as select if you want to open nautilus or the terminal from a saved bookmark.
After having consulted the source code for konsole and gnome-terminal I came to the conclusion that it is no easy task as gnome-terminal does not have a wrapper around the active terminal as konsole have. This feature would vastly improve gnome-terminal and gnome altogether. So if able someone should look into this.
