Support backends which return block-aligned results

Glance currently expects a backend to return exactly the same number of bytes as were written in. Some block storage backends return the data in complete chunks, rounding up to the next block size. It should be possible to designate a backend as block-storage, causing glance to truncate the output to the expected number of bytes.
