Distribution release status for packages availability management and user information

The list of available distributions releases is becoming longer and the mirror size is increasing at a considerable rate.
In order to addressed this problems, distribution release status should be set according to the following specification:
Supported : New and updated packages will be released
Active: Packages are available for download but no new packages or updates will be published
Archive: Packages will be archived, unavailable for download
