Scripting support with i18n through gettext

Apr-27-2007: create scripting support for 0.40 and port the i18n support from 0.35 (desklets may then use gettext files and _() function to provide localized language strings.

I have created this patch[1] and we are using it in Mandriva with good results and good performance in the OEM Unit (for specific plataforms). I think this is the code will be merged soon. However, as fas as I can see it needs more testing:
- What happen if a display hasn't got a .mo file?
- Do you know any better way to implement this?
