Mutipath performance issues: issues with connect_volume and similar fucntions
Bring down upstream fixes for multipath in nova.

Customer: We've opened a few tickets recently and I believe I have come across the root cause of many of our issues which are general multipath issues with Nova. The primary issue we've experienced in issue 5829 is block device issues, resulting in a VM becoming read-only. These problems do not occur when multipath is disabled in nova.
One can observe iscsi sessions and multipath device's being mangled by nova during instance delete operations.
I have found several bugs which are issues we have experienced, with 1336683 and 1382440 appearing to be the closet related. The performance problems when deleting volumes in 1277316 makes the system also unusable.

I would like to get a copy of nova from master with these proposed fixes applied to help work towards resolving our issues.
