Pending or new status that would not update the accound balance

I would like to be able to enter transactions which are "pending", and which do not update the account balance. That is very useful to credit card or transfers, when there is a delay between the transaction and when it is processed.
An existing 'pending' status could be used for this or a new status can be added.
