Stop forking libext2fs (from e2fslibs) if at all possible

At the moment we are including a forked version of libext2fs.
* investigate what changes have been made in the fork
- Annoyingly I don't recall what these were
* investigate if any changes need to be submitted & accepted
by the libext2fs developers
* Related issue - it would be nice for this project if libext2fs had a truncate() call
Currently we implement it ourselves, but I think it belongs in libext2fs.
