Standalone Pages: Upgrade
Thinking through the standalone pages, and have started putting notes together. I think a system similar to heirarchy, but with a slightly different implementation is necessary to aid in organization of standalone pages.
I think the addition of "categories" or "bins" of some sort would be helpful. Being able to define a "parent" that is really just an empty list... and put the standalone pages inside it would be helpful (parent is ID of ul?) Could implement drag-and-drop to pull between a number of these on the page.
This doesn't have any effect on the locations of these pages, but simply allows for an organization of standalone pages. Perhaps 5 contact forms branch off of the heirarchy, then sitemap, then accessibility info, then a few other random pages. This would allow us to create "bins" for 3-4 sections, keeping the standalone pages neat.
I am writing this up to get ideas from the rest of you guys before we start messing with this.
