Amarok has a feature allowing you to move or copy music files to the folder of your library, and at the same time catagorize the files in folders and rename the file according to song information. Example: Copy/move file /home/skinney/song1.mp3 to /home/skinney/music/Jet/Get Born/3. Look at what you've done.mp3.
