Pigments should be able to handle different architectures. For example, Usplash pigments should have different data files for both 32bit and 64bit computers, and wallpaper pigments should be able to handle multiple resolutions.

I'm considering whether to remove support for usplash because of this issue: usplash needs to be distributed in different forms depending on which architecture is used and which release of Ubuntu is installed. If usplash were no longer supported, this feature would be unnecessary.
