Maintain a release version file

There is no readily available method to identify the release / patch version. Using 'uname -r' does not always correctly work, especially if freebsd-update has been used (kernel file is not always updated and version is hardcoded there).
Like other Linux distributions, add a release file somewhere, like /etc/enterprise
