Elementary needs a download manager that suport most kinds of download protocol or source (Like BitTorrent, ed2k, HTTP, FTP, Metalink, Magnet Link, etc.)
Would be easy to use, out-of-the-box and very beautiful, like any other Elementary App.

I think something like this has been asked early, but I have discovered something which could fit int elementary stile. This application it's steadyflow, simple , lightweight and supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and SMB, also it seems it follows the elementary HIG ( or that seems to me). ~sheosi

Steadyflow, for me, don't match this blueprint because it cannot handle BitTorrent protocol.
I was searching for something that would be just like JDownloader+Transmission+Steadyflow in a simple way to use, a beautiful GUI and lightweight. Am I aiming too high? ~PauloCastro

While it would be really cool if it could download from mediafire and rapidshare I don't think it will be done, at least for now, but when talking about torrent this changes as this is their only blueprint, so if someone could work to add it to Steadyflow this download manager could be an interesting option. ~Sheosi

This was already proposed earlier, and since the older blueprint is moe detailed, I've marked this one superseded by it. Still, thanks for the suggestion! ~shnatsel
